Canada's Telecommunications Hall of Fame is a Not-For-Profit corporation and CRA registered charitable organization with a mission to safeguard, promote and celebrate the past, present and future excellence of Canadian telecommunications. 

 

Through the annual Telecom Laureate Program and the Career Service Awards they have honoured more than 35 great Canadians from Alexander Graham Bell through to Ted Rogers, Mike Lazeridis and Jim Balsillie, all of  whom have contributed to Canada's legacy of success and achievement in telecommunications.

 

Their Education and Outreach Programs help young Canadians understand the importance of Canada's contributions to global telecommunications and promote the industry as a rewarding career choice for Canada's best and brightest young minds.

  

In addition, donations to Canada's Telecommunications Hall of Fame to date have permitted our organization to celebrate unsung Canadian heroes and to shine a spotlight on their career accomplishments in the conception, design, development and delivery of some of the world's most significant telecommunications technology and service innovation.

Government

Commissioner for Complaints for Telecommunication Services (CCTS) - The Commissioner for Complaints for Telecommunications Services (CCTS) is an independent agency with a mandate to receive, to facilitate the resolution of, and, if necessary, resolve eligible consumer and small business complaints relating to certain retail telecommunications services.

CRTC - The Canadian Radio and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) is the leading Federal Government Regulatory government body responsible for monitoring and regulating the telecommunications and broadcast companies in Canada.
